Archauz, lead by artistic director Louise Friis, has invited the well-known Swedish dance company Cullberg ballet for a long-term collaboration.
|Archauz starts the season in February with love on the program. Danish Dance Theatre Archauz guests with their live show: LOVE Friday 4th of February and Saturday 5th of February. Already, Friday’s show is sold out. There are still a few seats for Saturday, so hurry if you want a ticket. You buy the tickets through billetlugen.dk.|
|One of the main mottos of Archauz is: "Everything is possible." This weekend was no exception. Archauz was full of young bees, flower girls, princesses and ballerinas both Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Archauz hosted the yearly christmas show of BalletAkademiet with 100 ballet children and an audience full of proud parents and grandparents.|
|Archauz has existed since 2007 as a choreographic center in Aarhus, a dance scene in Aarhus and a center for dance. In March 2010 a new management team started in Archauz - Louise Friis as artistic director and Line Hauger as an administrative leader. DOMESTIC DREAM at Archauz – a bonus performance, courtesy of an EU grant!
On October 22, the Cultural Fund of the Central Denmark Region publically announced that U-Kompagniet had been awarded a grant for 100,000 Danish krone. Archauz’ U-Kompagniet, which was first established in 2008, was supported in its first year by funds from the Danish Arts Council.
