It is with great sadness that Archauz hereby announces that Archauz closes down on Thursday the 30th of June 2011. After a long and tough process it was finally decided on a city council meeting on the 25 of May that the local theatre Entréscenen 2011 takes over Archauz from the 1st of July 2011.??

30. May 2011Despite the weather SPOT was a success, a good party where a lot of people showed up. There were long queues for several of the concerts, and at Headquarters, there was pressure on with live bands and a nice crowd. It was a party indeed.

24. May 2011Last week the ILT festival was in Archauz and around town, and during those events our U-kompagni showed small dances infront of Ridehuset, at Aarhus Theatre in Teater Reflektionction and in Archauz.

18. April 2011Last week Quonga Festival came to Archauz with young creative people. They came with orange a caravan and big chill-out cushions in the courtyard. There was partying and lots of things on the program throughout the weekend. It was a pleasure.

Well-attended workshop at Archauz
21. February 2011Archauz had an active winter holiday week with lots of activities. Meredith Smedegaard workshop was held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, last Friday there was once again Balkan music in Headquarters and The Senior Company trained over the weekend at full throttle.

They made the performance Alter Ego, which is an ambitious collaboration between Rundhøjskolen, Vorrevangskolen, Ellekærskolen, Danseværket, Aarhus Symfoni Orkester, Rap Akademiet, Dansens Hus and Archauz.

Tuesday 29th of September, artistic director Jens Bjerregaard returned from Bruxelles after signing a five-year contract as partner in the European cooperation of DÉPARTS.
